MoPar Spring Fling Speed Festival Thursday, May 1st, 2008
Willow Springs Raceway...the "Big Track"
This high performance driving event will spotlight Chrysler and Dodge cars, and Vintage MoPar muscle cars and will have 2 run groups for these cars. The 3rd run group will be open to all cars and drivers must have track day experience. This is a High Performance Driving Event (HPDE) for street/OEM cars. Some race prepared cars will attend as well. Run groups will be divided according to experience. Don't be shy, this is not a race. It's for the driving enthusiast. WE ENCOURAGE NEWBIES. That's why we go to the expense of having extra instructors and class room instruction.
Drivers Wanted
Who's eligeable? Anyone with a driver's license, a Dodge, Chrysler, or MoPar muscle car and a helmet. If you own one of these street cars or a prepared track car and want to drive it on a 2.5 mile road course please contact Alltime Racing . Bring a helmet and come join the excitement !!! This a Only 45 miles from the Spring Fling/Woodley Park location.
This will be a free spectator event so Spring Fling attendees and CPW club members are welcome to come watch and do a free lunch time tour. The free lunch time track tour is about driving your car on the track at 55 mph and seeing what these events are all about. Passengers will be allowed for the tour only. Come see some of these event cars reaching speeds of over 140 on the front 1/2 mile straightaway.
Special Guest: Bob Tarozzi, whom most of you know as Chrysler engineer with heavy Trans-Am involvement, has confirmed he will be coming to SFSF 2008. He will help with tech in the am, hold a Q&A session at some point during the day, and says he will be available for questions regarding chassis set up during the day also. He said what sealed the deal for him come was a motorcycle track day at "Streets" on Friday with his Honda 929.

1800 Diner at Golden Cantina 3 miles back on Rosamond towards the 14 fwy, turn left at Golden Cantina sign on 40th St. and go ¼ mile, you’ll run into it.

This all day track event is $295. Register before April 10th for $255. No refunds after on time reistration date 4/10/08, which is 3 weeks prior to event. Same day registration add $50.
